M83 have an impressive group of artists lined up to remix their song ‘Reunion,’ which is off their latest album, ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.’ The electropop masters will release the collection of remixes later this month. Listen to Scottish producer Mylo’s take on ‘Reunion’ below.

M83 released ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’ last October as a double-disc set. It is their most successful album to date, selling 21,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States. Joining Mylo on the ‘Reunion Remixes EP’ are New Zealanders the Naked and Famous, Detroit indie-pop outfit Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., frequent M83 touring partner White Sea and more.

Mylo gives ‘Reunion’ an ’80s new wave-style treatment. The track sounds like Police-era Sting singing over an instrumental track meant for Yaz. It’s also twice as long as the three-minute original.

M83′s ‘Reunion Remixes EP’ will be released on May 29. The group is currently touring throughout North America in support of ‘Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming’ with sold out shows in Philadelphia, Pa., a double-header in Washington D.C., Dallas and Austin, Texas and more. View their entire road schedule on the band’s official website.

Who knows — if collaborations like these continue we may see that M83-produced Katy Perry album.
