Last year, M83’s Anthony Gonzalez announced plans to compose the audio for the new Tom Cruise flick, ‘Oblivion.’ ‘StarWaves,’ the first piece of music from the film, is now available for your listening pleasure.

According to Rolling Stone, Gonzalez teamed up with Joseph Trapanese, who also composed the score for ‘TRON: Uprising.’ Additionally, M83 worked on another track for the motion picture alongside Norwegian songstress Susanne Sundfør.

‘Oblivion’ is scheduled to hit theaters on April 19, and its soundtrack is set for an April 9 release via Back Lot Records. Check out the beautifully powerful tune below.
