The Manhattan community is honoring spud growers with the annual Manhattan Potato Festival on Saturday, August 15. It will feature a fireman's breakfast, parade, arts and crafts vendors, food, live music, a car show, kids activities and more.

The Manhattan Potato Festival will kick off with a fireman's breakfast starting at 6 a.m. A 5K run starts at 7:30 a.m. The festival and car show starts at 9 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m. The festival will feature arts and crafts booths, food booths, live music, raffles and a children's area with face painting, inflatables and balloons.
