The Montana Farm and Ranch Show celebrates Montana's farming and ranching past while supporting the necessity of its future. This year's show promises to have something for everyone to enjoy. There will be displays, vendors, demonstrations, events, food, music, contests, prizes and more waiting for you at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds May 3 - 5. Details here:

Friday, May 3: 5 - 8 pm

Saturday, May 4: 10 am - 6pm

Sunday, May 5: 10 am - 4 pm

Adults: $5

Under 10: FREE

Just some of the highlights that will be featured at this year's show:

  • Vendors will be on hand from every corner of the farming and ranching industry
  • Plenty of entertainment (check out the restored tractors, watch spinners spin and weavers weave, listen to history talks, watch presentations in the ag theatre, enjoy toe tapping music, animals will be on display (such as baby chicks, lambs, pigs and cows)
  • Are you good at backing up a stock trailer? Enter the Trailer Backing competition!
  • Do you garden? Come listen to presentations from the local garden clubs (learn where to buy vegetable starts, learn about canning on Saturday and more)
  • There will be lots of stuff for sale. Would mom enjoy something uniquely Montana for Mother's Day? (There will be plenty of farm toys, farm and ranch antiques, art, handmade cards and more)
  • Interested in raising your own meat? Producers will be there with their animals ready to give you advice on the process (there will also be vets, butchers and feed information too)
  • Don't forget to fill out your ticket stub to be eligible for awesome door prizes (the kids will be picking up some prizes at the tractor bingo game)
