Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Offering Spring Hunter Education Class In Butte

Spring hunter education is coming soon in Butte. Registration is required and will be held on Monday, April 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the Butte East Middle School Auditorium (2600 Grand Ave.).The class will take place on April 6-7 and 11-14 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Butte East Middle School.

A mandatory field day at the Rocker Gun Range will be held on April 17.

Anyone born after January 1, 1985, must present a Hunter Education Certificate in order to purchase a hunting license in Montana.

A student must be 11 years old to receive certification. Registration is required and students under 18 years of age must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
