Montana Ghost Towns On Display At Bozeman’s Pioneer Museum
Love learning about ghost towns? Well, Montana’s got lots of them and they’re on display now at The Pioneer Museum in downtown Bozeman! Details here:
The Pioneer Museum of Bozeman has a new photographic display of Montana Ghost Towns. A portion of the display features black and white photographs from the museum archives, including locations unfamiliar to most people.
Another section contains current color photographs of six ghost towns that are still very much intact, offering items of interest to both locals and tourists. Finally there is a ghost town map from the Montana Ghost Town Preservation Society.
Maps and directions for finding easy-to-visit ghost towns are available in the museum book store.
The Pioneer Museum is located at 317 W Main Street in downtown Bozeman. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
