Montana Lottery Issues Scam Warning

Montana Lottery is alerting Montanans about a new scam. The scam, being posted to Facebook, appears as though an online cash jackpot is being offered from the Mega Million game. Details here.

Montana Lottery posted this scam warning on its Facebook page,

There is a NEW SCAM posted on Facebook that uses symbolism from the legitimate Mega Million game. If you see a Mega Millions Facebook post offering a $640 Million on-line cash jackpot, do not click, share, respond or re-post. This is a SCAM and you could also unknowingly be passing on malware attached to the posting. We strongly recommend that you immediately delete these types of posts without responding or viewing in any way.
