You know how I love to share stories about the office politics here at The MOOSE? This morning it's a feel good story about the cookie I found on my desk first thing when I walked into the building.

My friend Tate Chamberlin and I have an "old married couple" relationship. We work closely together and have to be on the same page about a lot of stuff. But sometimes we're not. This week has been one of those weeks where we were NOT on the same page. (We were arguing over which one of us has been less available to each other to have lunch. Not kidding.)

Anyway, I got tired of not agreeing. And caved. But demanded a cookie for my concession.

Hence, the cookie on my desk this morning.

Tate and the cookie represent something wonderful. They represent people of their word. They represent paying attention to detail (the cookie is my fave from The Leaf & Bean downtown). They represent respecting your relationships with your co-workers. Where would we be if we didn't respect our co-workers? We often spend more time at work than we do at home.

Thank you, Tate, for being not only a good dude but a fun guy to work with. Do you have a Tate in YOUR OFFICE?  Perhaps YOU are a Tate. If you are, please know that those little things you do, make up for a lot.

Now go give a co-worker a cookie. -Michelle
