The 29th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony was looking pretty grim there for a moment, but it all looks like it's finally coming together. Most of the presenters and performers have now been announced. It appears Cat Stevens will perform and a special tribute to Linda Ronstadt was just announced. Presenters include Michael Stipe, Tom Morello and Chris Martin.

Presenters:

  • R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe will induct Nirvana
  • Guitar god Tom Morello will induct KISS
  • Coldplay's Chris Martin will induct Peter Gabriel
  • Roots drummer ?uestlove will induct Hall & Oates
  • Glenn Frey of the Eagles will induct Linda Ronstadt (who cannot attend due to her battle with Parkinson's disease)
  • Bruce Springsteen will induct his band, The E Street Band

Performers:

  • Cat Stevens (a.k.a. Yusuf Islam)
  • Peter Gabriel
  • Hall & Oates
  • The E Street Band
  • Special tribute to Linda Ronstadt by Stevie Nicks, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, and Sheryl Crow

The induction ceremony is happening on Thursday, April 10, but HBO isn't broadcasting the event until May 31.
