Although Mumford & Sons' sophomore album, Babel, just won Album of the Year at the Grammys, the band says their next album will have a slightly different sound. Found out what some of the Sons said:

Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons said the band's next album will deliver a different sound from their first two (2010's Sigh No More and Babel). You can't deny the cohesion of the two and Lovett says, quote,

Now that we've done that, we're not desperate to walk away from that sound, but we're willing to explore what else we could do. These two albums are like 'brothers.' [We'd like to] do something that's a cousin.

The band has a "handful of new songs", but don't expect a new album anytime soon. Winston Marshall says, quote, "It might take a few more years than it took to make Babel (there were 3 years between Sigh No More and Babel).
