Nationwide Bear Attacks On The Rise

In just the last week, seven people in five states have been attacked by bears. None of the attacks were fatal, which occurred in Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Michigan. We all know that we reside in the thick of bear country here in Montana. Don't forget to be bear aware. Here are some helpful reminders:

Bear attacks in the last week included a hunter who was mauled in Alaska, a woman was bitten while camping in Colorado, two hikers were attacked at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, two researchers were attacked in Idaho and a jogger was attacked in Michigan.
