In honor of the 20th anniversary of the release of Nirvana's classic Nevermind album, VH1 will air a rare, never-before-seen-concert. The hour-long "Nirvana: Live at the Paramount" will first air on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11pm ET. It will be simulcast on VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia.

This hidden gem was shot at the Paramount Theater in Seattle on Halloween in 1991. It features performances of several songs from Nevermind, as well as non-album cuts and a cover of the Vaselines' "Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam". "Nirvana: Live At The Paramount" will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 27th.

Are you kidding me? A 20 year-old, never-before-seen Nirvana show on Halloween night in their hometown? Love it! I'm firin' up the DVR when I get home tonight.
