500 lucky fans in L.A. were treated to a secret show from the Foo Fighters that featured songs from their upcoming album as well as a special appearance by former Nirvana band member Krist Novoselic. More inside.

Former Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl play a Nirvana rarity at secret gig.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the Foo Fighters played a secret show in LA, debuting new material, playing classics, and getting Novoselic up on stage to play 'Marigold'.

'Marigold' was the b-side to In Utero's first single 'Heart-Shaped Box', one of the rare songs written and sung by Grohl during his tenure in Nirvana (he'd previously released it under a pseudonym).

The rest of the show was also a treat for the 500 or so that crammed into the Paladino's venue.
