The one and only Noel Gallagher will be making his way back to America this spring for a monthlong round of shows. Gallagher and his High Flying Birds will be touring in support of their new album, 'Chasing Yesterday,' which is set for release March 3 via Sour Mash.

The former Oasis chief recently released the first video from the album for the song 'Ballad of the Mighty I,' which can be seen below.

One song from the new LP, 'The Right Stuff,' was born out of a collaboration between Gallagher and producers Amorphous Androgynous. An entire album had, at one point, been on the docket, but has now been permanently shelved. He told NME it will "never see the light of day," saying, "the mixes weren't right."

"Initially when they delivered it they managed to pull off the trick of recording the quietest CD of all time," he added. "When I got it I couldn't hear it and was like, 'Is it broke?'"
