Christmas is over. It’s time to kick your tree to the curb.

But wait! The City of Bozeman’s forestry division will be recycling Christmas trees again this year as a courtesy service for city residents.

Don’t forget to remove any non-compostable materials (lights, ornaments, string, wire, etc. Pretty much everything but the tree!)

They ask that you don’t bring your wreaths, garland or other yard waste or garbage. Just trees, people!

Take your tree to one of the following sites:

- BMX Park (entrance on Tamarack)

- Christie Field (Mason Street)

- Softball Complex (lower parking lot on Haggerty)

- Regional Park (north side of Oak across from Yellowstone)

Sites will be open until Feb. 19, 2016.

Last year, over 90,000 pounds of Christmas trees were recycled.
