[UPDATE JANUARY 22, 2013, 3:29AM] BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say a body found near Shepherd may be that of an Illinois man kidnapped from a Billings hotel room.

Billings police are investigating 29-year-old Dejuan Laster's kidnapping last Thursday by two men claiming to be FBI agents.

Police Chief Rich St. John says investigators believe the body found Sunday is that of Laster. The Billings Gazette reports a Tuesday autopsy will confirm the cause of death and identity of the victim.

Two people have been arrested.

James Adam Walker faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and robbery and is being held without bond.

Authorities had been searching for a second person of interest in the case, Simon Jacobson.

On Monday, Billings police Lt Kevin Iffland said the U.S. Marshall Task Force in Colorado had found and arrested Jacobson.

He was being held in the Denver jail on a probation violation.

[January 21, 2013, 8:45AM] BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Police are searching for two armed suspects who purported to be FBI agents when they allegedly kidnapped an Illinois man from a Montana hotel room.

Police in Billings said Friday that 29-year-old Dejuan Laster is missing after two men showed up at the Extended Stay hotel where Laster was staying with an unidentified woman.

After brandishing handguns and claiming to be federal agents, police say the suspects zip-tied the woman and questioned her extensively about Laster before releasing her.

Laster has not been seen since Thursday.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic males in their 30s, driving a white Suburban and a green four-door car.

Billings Police spokesman Lt. Kevin Iffland says the relationship between the suspect and the victims is unknown. Laster's hometown was unavailable.
