The Blue Water Task Force and American Rivers are hosting a public event at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, July 2 at 5:30 pm to discuss the effort by Montanans for Healthy Rivers to designate the Upper Gallatin as Wild and Scenic. Following the meeting, there will be a showing of the film, DamNation.

Scott Bosse from American River's Northern Rockies Office will discuss the effort and the potential impacts on the Gallatin and the Big Sky Community. Aaron Pruzan, who sits on the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism board and owns Rendezvous River Sports and Jackson Kayaking School, will discuss how the designation on the Snake River has been a win-win for both the river and the Jackson community.
