Just a few days ago, we learned that 'Glee' and 'American Horror Story' creator Ryan Murphy had begun development of another provocative new drama called 'Open,' allowing the prolific producer an outlook on human sexuality and modern coupling. At the time the project created a bidding war among broadcast and cable networks alike, but has unsurprisingly landed a pilot order at HBO, the site of Murphy's upcoming film 'The Normal Heart.' Find out just how sexy 'Open' will be inside!

Ryan Murphy may stir the pot of broadcast content and cable alike with his multiple edgy series, but the latest could prove the most controversial yet. Deadline reports that Murphy's new sex drama 'Open' has officially landed a pilot order on HBO, likely owing to Murphy's relationship with the network developing upcoming film 'The Normal Heart.'

‘Open’ casting has begun for a fall shoot, described as  a “modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships” penned by ‘Dexter‘ co-executive producer Lauren Gussis.

“Gary (Newman), Bert (Salke) and I have been looking for the right opportunity to be in business with HBO for awhile, and this show represents the exact right opportunity,” said 20th Century Fox TV chairman Dana Walden. “Its provocative storytelling and Ryan’s trademark production values and rich, layered characters make it a perfect fit for the HBO brand.”

What say you? Do you think Ryan Murphy's latest drama 'Open' will attract as much buzz as his other work?
