Sinead O’Connor Blasts Kim Kardashian, Pronounces Music Dead

Don McLean declared in 1971 that music had died, but according to Sinead O’Connor, it wasn’t officially laid to rest until this summer.

The Irish singer-songwriter, who’s never been one to mince her words (just look back to that infamous SNL performance) declared today in a Facebook post that Rolling Stone, who’s featured Kim Kardashian on the cover of the more recent issue, has officially 86′d music.

“What is this c— doing on the cover of Rolling Stone?” she posed. “Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f—— horrified. ‪#‎BoycottRollingStone‬.” At least she didn’t beat around the bush?

And Kim isn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family that’s come under fire via social media recently. Over the weekend, Kylie Jenner posted an Instagram photo that featured a cornrow hairstyle, and Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg accused her of cultural appropriation.

“when u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter,” Stenberg commented on the picture, according to US Weekly.

What do you think—is O’Connor on the money with her remark, or is she way off with her Kardashian diss?
