Only days away from the release of Sleater-Kinney’s reunion album, ‘No Cities to Love,’ the trio made their first appearance in the nine years since their hiatus back in 2006. The ladies took the 'Late Show’ stage last night (Jan. 15) to perform the Carrie Brownstein-helmed ‘A New Wave,' and they made it look like no time had passed at all with an energetic performance complete with some seriously high kicks from Brownstein. Watch the killer performance in the video above.

The ‘Letterman’ performance came on the heels of a brand-new video for ‘No Cities to Love’'s title track. In the new clip, Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss enlist a bunch of famous friends – Fred Armisen, Miranda July, Andy Samberg, Ellen Page, Norman Reedus and many, many more – to help sing the song. And the results are pretty great:

‘No Cities to Love’ hits stores this Tuesday, Jan. 20 via Sub Pop.
