If you are planning to go to any national park this year just be aware that you might need to bring some extra cash with you.

The National Park Service announced that starting June 1st, 2018 many park fees will be raised by at least $5.

Yellowstone and Glacier National Park are a part of this and it will cost $35 for a seven day vehicle pass instead of the old price of $30.

The park service is doing this to try and balance an almost $12 million maintenance backlog for the parks.
