Hay season in the MountainsIt is hay season in the Rockies. Ive seen the large tractors working late into the full moon nights and awake to beautiful freshly cut hay lines and big stacks of stored hay bales. The air is just a bit cooler in the morning and late at night. SLAM Fest and the week long Celebrations of Summer are a memory for this year. I feel the onset of the Fall season. Im a shoulder season girl and am looking forward to all things pumpkin, snuggly blankets, warm coats, seeing ones breath, hot fresh cider and colorful leaves. But not before enjoying the last days of our month of Montana Summer. There is a lot happening around at Bogert Park for Slam Fest ( SLAM fest is FREE) today and at Lindley Park for Sweet Pea Festival. Not to mention the rivers have been chock full of boaters, fishermen, floaters, kayakers. Summer is everywhere, play in your last glimpses before she makes way for Autumn. Make it a great week and Ill catch you next Sunday for the Sunday Brunch 9am-noon at www.mooseradio.com stream it live.
