Professional surfer Tom Dosland somehow recently survived an estimated 40-foot freefall from the largest wave I have ever seen. He said it felt like he was in a car crash. It was caught on video. Check it out:

Professional surfer Tom Dosland was caught on camera during a scary freefall from a huge wave in Maui, Hawaii, on January 27. Dosland described the incident to Surfer Magazine later, saying that striking the face of the wave was "a brutal beating, like I was in a car crash."
