Our weather here in southwest Montana had a brother feeling the blues a bit this morning. A good friend, or perhaps good karma, intervened at just the right time when showing up to see me at work with vinyl gifts of grandeur. My day has turned right around with the prospect of new music spinning over dinner later tonight at the Ledoux household.

With the onslaught of rock bands marketing their own brands of libations, Billboard elected to examine several such beverages via a wine tasting panel at New York’s City Winery. They sipped, sampled and sounded off about 12 wines from the likes of AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Motorhead, Warrant, Ratt, Whitesnake and more.

AC/DC is getting the Monopoly treatment in a special edition of the board-game featuring locations based on the legendary hard rock band’s songs and albums.

AC/DC Monopoly is available for $29.99, or can be bundled with the ‘AC/DC Live at River Plate’ DVD for $36.99. It will also be sold at stores alongside the original Monopoly.
