Early season snow is inviting to skiers but spotty coverage, no avalanche control and no on-duty ski patrol can make for dangerous conditions. Gallatin County Search and Rescue dealt with a rescue situation at Bridger Bowl on Friday.

Hundreds of thousands of acres have burned in Montana this summer. If some of these aren't "going out" until the snow flies (significantly), I'm willing to try anything.

The lifts have long since closed but earlier this Spring, Eric Bee and his buddies made the trek up Bridger for some EXCELLENT powder skiing.

The 2016 season has now come to a close at Bridger Bowl. Thanks to the Young Guns (Nico Hinz and friends), we've got a great crew documenting how to have fun on the hill.

March has been good to us snow-wise so get up to Bridger and enjoy it as the season is coming to a close this Monday, April 4th.
