Celebrate Bridger Bowl’s 60th birthday with discounted lift tickets and lessons on Friday, Jan. 16. It's also 3 On A Wheel to Get the Deal!
Miss Bridger Bowl or looking to ski here? Take a quick look at the mountain through the eyes of an average guy snowboarder. It's not the crazy, extreme "dude-man-bro" videos you usually encounter. It just gives you a really nice, accurate look at what Bridger is REALLY like.
With a controlled blast from Bridger Bowl Ski Patrol on January 5th, a large area south of the boundary line slid in a big way. The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center guys went up to check it out the next day. Here's what they found:
Don't feel bad if you did because I did too. Not much solace considering how incredible it looked. (I DID hear a lot of PTex was in need the following day but it was probably worth it.) Early season comes with risk to your boards but check out the smiles. Let's not miss the next one.
It's going to be a cold opening day but a hefty winter storm has dumped lots of fresh snow on the Bridgers this week, hopefully making for an excellent first day on the slopes. With two new lifts this season, you'll be able to enjoy even more of what you love at Bridger Bowl.
Come celebrate and observe one of the largest know migrations of golden eagles in North America at Bridger Bowl this weekend. The 18th annual Raptorfest is happening October 4 - 6, complete with lectures, workshops, raptor identification, exhibitors, children's activities, nature hikes and more.
I'm fairly certain (judging from their comments) that this video was taken by tourists but it's a beautiful example of mellow Spring skiing at Bridger Bowl. The season comes to a close on April 8th, 2013 so get out there, raccoon face!
Sometimes I wish I didn't have a job. Like yesterday. 25+ inches of snow fell over the Bridger Range in our latest (and continuing) Winter Weather Advisory. Enjoy what you didn't get to actually enjoy.
