Winter Pilot ‘Trail Ambassador’ Program Launches on Popular Bozeman Trails

Four local winter recreational partners are excited to promote a sense of shared responsibility on our community trails with a new Trail Ambassador program. The Gallatin Valley Land Trust, US Forest Service, Friends of Hyalite, and Bridger Ski Foundation are introducing volunteers on some of Bozeman’s most popular trails to share goodwill and educate the public on trail conditions, grooming reports and trail etiquette.

Despite the Weather, GVLT Will Host ‘Make Tracks for Trails’ Fundraiser

The lack of snow isn’t stopping the Gallatin Valley Land Trust from hosting one of its biggest fundraisers of the year, Make Tracks for Trails, on Sunday, February 22. Community members are encouraged to walk, bike, run or ski the trails to raise money for expansion and improvement of the trail system. There will also be kid’s activities, prizes and lunch offered.
