No matter a regular spring habit or a quarantine hobby, planting seeds helps keep me sane every year. I even start things you're not really supposed to start indoors. Both flowers and veggies have a spot in my living room.

Spring can't get here fast enough for me and I know I am already thinking about what I want to plant for my garden and planter boxes.  If you are doing the same, why not get some assistance and participate in the Get Your Garden Started event, it's free and at the Bozeman Public Library...

Starting seeds indoors can be tricky. Or easy. Or both. This year is throwing me some curve balls with my seedlings.

Every year I start plants early, indoors. Some make it to their ultimate destination on the porch outside,..others become "teachable moments". These Nasturtium I grew from seed and are doing well.

I know I'm not the only one who's itching to get some seeds started. Heck, I might start some this weekend just to keep myself out of trouble even though it's a bit early.

Want to grow some beautiful, useful stuff this Spring? No problem. I've got your back. I'm not afraid to try things beyond my gardening ability, but there are some things you just CAN'T screw up around here.

Love to garden and meet others who share your passion? Come to the Bozeman Public Library on Saturday April 1st starting at noon for the 2nd annual Seed Swap. But there's so much more than just a seed swap!

Spring has official begun and Cardinal Climbers starts are doing well in a sunny living room window. Bozeman's never ending struggle of trying to balance a short growing season and starting things too soon inside is a fun challenge for me.

Again this year, I can't resist. Starting a few seeds - some will still, some won't. Basil to be practical and a few flowers just to see what happens. Our true growing season is a long way off but "babying" a few plants is an incredibly effective winter therapy.
