A temporary closure of this fishing access site on the Yellowstone River was put in place on September 9th to help fight the Pine Creek Fire. It has once again reopened to the public:

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking public comment on a draft statewide fisheries management plan that will affect fishing in Montana for the next six years. Along with meetings throughout the state, Bozeman will be holding an information sharing session on Tuesday, September 18th. Details here:

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks announced today the seven individuals to serve on the Madison River Citizen Advisory Committee (MCAC). Members of the MCAC will develop recommendations for managing recreation on the Madison River. Their first meeting is scheduled for May 30th in Bozeman.
