Montana's own Pinky and the Floyd, which has been called the Northwest's hottest Pink Floyd tribute band, is kicking off its statewide tour: 'A Pink Floyd Retrospective' Friday, March 29 at The Willson Auditorium with special guests Dave Walker and The Bozeman High School Choir. I don't know of many local bands who can pack The Emerson for a two night stand, but Pinky and the Floyd sure did. And they've done it before. Folks who caught the show(s) know not only how good this group is but what FUN they are to see live.

I've never seen one venue filled with so much talent. As each band took the stage, the competition watched in anticipation. I feel sorry for anyone that did not make it out to the event. I'm one that very much likes variety so I was in heaven seeing 10 bands each play their best songs and then move on to the next. Who took home the honors?
