Bozeman police responded to an early morning shooting, Thursday, that left two people injured outside of Bar IX.

This announcement comes on the heels of shootings in Odessa and Midland, Texas and a shooting that occurred inside a Walmart store in El Paso.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a trooper was shot early Friday morning during a traffic stop in the Missoula area.
