I've come across a lot of "Best Viral Videos of 2012" lists lately and most of them contain at least one "Call Me Maybe" parody...lame. I did absolutely love when Carly Rae Jepsen got together with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to perform her song with classroom instruments. Priceless. If you missed it, it's a must-see. The Moose is currently playing a song from John Legend & The Roots ("Compared To What") off of their new collaboration. "Wake Up" is a beautiful, soulful collection of old school covers. Each classic, socially active song was purposely chosen because the messages are still relevant. It's smart, it's cool, it's definitely worth a listen.
