Should long-time bachelor “roommates” Bert and Ernie tie the knot?

LGBT activist Lair Scott thinks so, and he has created on online petition on Change.org which requests that Sesame Street and PBS allow the pair to wed. According to the petition, such a matrimony would help teach kids that homophobia is not OK.

‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ the much-hyped new installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman series, is currently shooting in Pittsburgh where paparazzi and fans have swarmed the set. Over the weekend, Steel City residents — including one lucky pair of newlyweds – got a good look at the camouflage-edition Batmobile that will be featured in the movie.
