The Chugach National Forest in Alaska was selected to provide the 2015 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree. As soon as I found out the 105-foot tractor-trailer carrying the tree to Washington, D.C. was stopping off in Bozeman today, I had to get a look!

The 2015 U.S. Capitol Tree made a short stop in front of the Bozeman Public Library today. It was such a cool opportunity for families and kids to get a peak at this massive tree before it makes its way to Washington, D.C. to be hung with care. The truck was also carrying a huge banner that everyone could sign, which will be displayed in our Nation's Capitol. Chugach National Forest Rangers were on hand talking and taking pictures with everyone. It was a uniquely awesome experience.
