The Gallatin Historical Society will sponsor a FREE talk this Saturday, September 14, entitled "Haynes Postcards and Messages from Wonderland." Jack and Susan Davis, who have assembled the largest private collection of Yellowstone Park antiques, will look at Haynes postcards and how they shaped the public's perception of the park throughout the world.

Jack and Susan Davis are authorities on Yellowstone antiques and postcards. The Davis collection now resides in Yellowstone Park's archives in Gardiner and excedes 20,000 pieces. The talk will be held in the Community Room of the Gallatin County Courthouse (next door to the Pioneer Museum) this Saturday at 9:30 am. Following the presentation, they will be available to sign copies of their new book, The Haynes Family in Yellowstone National Park: 1881 - 1968.
