I want to thank all our listeners who came out this morning to support the food drive! I was happy to wait outside in the MSU Fieldhouse parking lot to collect all of the donated items for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. It was our way of supporting the GVFB's 2011 "The Gift of Food". Continued efforts will be greatly appreciated throughout the remainder of this month to ensure the Food Bank has enough supplies to fulfill their biggest need ever.

With more than 1,200 households in the Gallatin Valley requesting food assistance for nourishment monthly, the overall need for our Food Bank's services have increased roughly 15% over the previous year. This means our community needs our support more than ever. Last year the Gift of Food collected 13,571 pounds of food and they are hoping to triple that amount this year. Please find it in your heart this holiday season to give the most rewarding gift you can, the gift of food. Help thy neighbor.

Food and funds both matter so much. Drop off non-perishable food items or a check made out to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank at 602 Bond Street in Bozeman.
