Jack White's debut solo album (which was released today) is getting all the new music buzz this week but I think there are a few others you'll be interested in Moose heads. Check it out:

Jack White - Blunderbuss - Alright let's start by mentioning Jack's debut solo effort. As I said, it was released today and critics are already praising the album, which was written, recorded and produced entirely by White himself (btw, Cactus Records has it now on vinyl and cd!)

The Dandy Warhols - This Machine - You've heard them on the Moose and as of today you can pick up some new stuff from The Dandy Warhols, This Machine is the band's 8th studio album. You may have already heard the first single off the album, "Well They're Gone", which they released as a free download on their website last month.

Billy Bragg & Wilco - Mermaid Avenue: The Complete Sessions - This is a box set album featuring the lyrics of folk legend Woody Guthrie set to music by folk rock guitarist Billy Bragg and the band Wilco. We're talking three albums here, which includes the documentary Man in the Sand about the making of the Mermaid Avenue project. It was actually released this past Saturday on Record Store Day to commemorate Guthrie's 100th birthday.

Notable new live releases this week include:

Warren Haynes Band - Live at the Moody Theater (2 CD + 1 DVD)

Peter Gabriel - New Blood Live in London (a 2 disc set of Gabriel performing live with the 46-piece New Blood Orchestra)
