A big Grammy electronic music tribute performance with The Foo Fighters sounds cool, just kind of odd for a rock band that just recorded their new album on analog tape (2011's Wasting Light). Rolling Stone has reported that the Foo will be teaming up with electro producer Deadmau 5, Grammy-winning artist/producer/DJ David Guetta, and Hip Hop superstar Lil' Wayne on stage this Sunday. The Foo Fighters were chosen for the tribute because they are nominated for Best Remix for a version of their single "Rope" (reworked by Deadmau 5). I'm definitely looking forward to that performance, and also pulling for Wasting Light to win Album of the Year.
