University of Montana football player Andrew Harris was found dead at his Missoula home, on Tuesday, according to the Missoulian.

Harris, a Kalispell native, died as a result of an apparent suicide. He was 22-years-old.

Harris played defensive line for the Griz and had just completed his redshirt junior year, while playing in 8 games in 2018.

Harris was a 2015 graduate of Glacier High School in Kalispell.

University of Montana President Scott Bodnar told the Missoulian: “We extend our deepest sympathies to Andrew’s family and friends at this difficult time, the entire UM family mourns his loss and our hearts go out to all who knew him.”

The incident is still under investigation.
