Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks said that flows have improved on the Big Hole River in southwest Montana and they have now lifted the two remaining angling closures that were in place.MT FWP said:

The sections that had remained closed until yesterday were Saginaw Bridge on Skinner Meadows Road to North Fork Big Hole River, and Notch Bottom Fishing Access Site to the confluence with the Beaverhead River.

Decisions on opening and closing the Big Hole are based on guidelines set by the Big Hole drought management plan developed in coordination with the Big Hole Watershed Committee.
