Ron Burgundy is back in ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,’ and — as we’re informed — more Burgundy-er than ever. And now there’s a new trailer that shows the news team in full force.

Where the previous trailers featured no actual footage from the film, this new trailer establishes that the film is set in the ’80s and that it’s about Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Champ Kind (David Koechner), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) and Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) working for a CNN-type organization.

But more than anything there is silliness. From the return of Baxter and Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), to Ferrell going on a date with Meagan Good’s character (and then going to her family’s home for dinner), to the introduction of Brick’s love interest (played by Kristen Wiig), there are some funny jokes here. Trailers are rarely good barometers for quality, but we can’t wait for this one.

‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ will be in theaters on December 20, though it’s worth noting there will be a slightly different trailer attached to ‘World War Z‘ this weekend. Here’s the film’s synopsis:

With the 70′s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy… while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

Source: ‘Anchorman 2′ Trailer: Welcome to the 1980s, Ron Burgundy

1995 gave us a female alt-rock (potential) goddess, Poe. She appealed to chicks with her smooth, breathy vocals but had additional appeal with some serious attitude behind the lyrics. Her album “Hello” contained one Alternative hit, “Angry Johnny” but also contained an album full of gems. And a full album of listenable songs is always a winner, then or now.

Thought we’ve got the entire summer to go before Showtime’s ‘Masters of Sex‘ debuts behind season 3 of ‘Homeland‘ on September 29, the new series featuring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan continues to offer tantalizing teases of its sexy subject. The latest look at Showtime’s new drama offers little in the way of new footage, but plenty of eye candy to turn heads in the months before the premiere.

Though we do see snippets of footage first revealed with the ‘Ray Donovan‘ summer previews, much of the new ‘Masters of Sex’ spot devotes itself to the taboo nature of the series, with men and women disrobing left and right for their overseers William Masters and Virginia Johnson. And how about that extra-dirty series logo?

Starring Michael Sheen (‘Twilight‘) and Lizzy Caplan (‘Party Down’), ‘Masters of Sex’ follows two famous, real-life human sexuality research pioneers of the 1960s, the aforementioned William Masters and Virginia Johnson, chronicling the duo’s unconventional lives moving from a St. Louis teaching hospital to Johnny Carson and the cover of Time Magazine. The series is adapted from Thomas Maier’s book ‘Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love.’

Among the recurring cast are ‘Bridesmaids’ star Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Janney, Beau Bridges and ‘Justified‘ Emmy-winner Margo Martindale, the latter two of whom can also be seen in CBS fall comedy ‘The Millers.’ You can check out the new teaser as well as the original ‘Ray Donovan’ split trailer below, and tell us if you’ll check out the sexy new series in the comments!

This type of laugh attack has only happened on the air to me once, but was nevertheless pointless to try and hold back. When it happens, it happens big.

Which brings me to this guy. If you didn’t have a chance to have a good laugh today, this TV anchor should do the trick.

Car designers are hard at work coming up with some incredible, futuristic-looking automotive designs, some of which may be racing down your street in the years ahead.

Sports cars and spacecraft-like models tend to dominate the imaginations of the engineering students and designers envisioning our near and distant futures. Even so, we’d like to start this list off with a family car—kind of, sort of—before we jump into some of the wilder concept cars you may see in the not-so-distant future.

1. Chevrolet Stingray AeroWagon

The Chevrolet Stingray AeroWagon, which is based on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, just might be put into production by Callaway Cars, if enough orders are received. This incredibly sexy “family” car will have a rear hatch—just like any other station wagon—except the hatch will be made out of carbon-fiber. The car itself will be capable of reaching 200 mph, although it will still be rather economical (for a Corvette) when it comes to gas mileage. This definitely isn’t your mother’s station wagon.

2. BMW ZX-6

We might as well rocket into the future with our next entry. The BMW ZX-6 doesn’t even look like a car, at least not like anything you’ve seen outside of science-fiction movies. This “space car” is the brainchild of design students at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin, Italy, who worked in conjunction with BMW. The streamlined body, hidden wheels and driver’s-side and passenger seats integrated into the car’s body all make the BMW ZX-6 a daring concept vehicle. We’re sure many a future-minded car enthusiast is praying that this BMW will make it off the ground.

3. Lamborghini’s Egoista

Lamborghini makes sleek, extremely expensive, high-performance sports cars, but the Egoista is something above and beyond what Lamborghini already has on offer. This concept car—which has only a single seat—is part-racing machine, part-designer’s unadulterated dream, part-neon rocket ship and part-personal statement for a rich owner who really wants to be noticed when he or she takes it out for a drive.

4. Mercedes-Benz BIOME Concept

The Mercedes-Benz BIOME concept car is a vehicle that could one day be grown in a lab, rather than manufactured on an assembly line or in a high-tech workshop. It’s an organic, hybrid vehicle that, while not actually grown from seeds (at least not yet), could very well incorporate “grown” and “nurtured” components (bio-fiber) into its overall design. Is this car truly possible in the real world? Time, and the advance of technology, will tell.

5. 2025 Bugatti Aerolithe Concept

This Bugatti concept vehicle is a contemporary version of the original Aerolithe, which was first given its public debut decades ago. This modern take on a classic design is similar in appearance to the pre-Christopher Nolan-era Batmobile driven by the likes of Michael Keaton and George Clooney. The car’s flowing lines and aeronautical exterior might be a signal of the types of cars we can expect to drive in the future—assuming, of course, we can afford these pieces of high-tech motorized art.

‘World War Z‘ hits theaters this weekend, and Paramount wants to make sure you’re good and pumped for it. The studio has released a brand new extended clip from the film, featuring Brad Pitt‘s Gerry Lane making a daring rooftop escape with his family in tow, including ‘The Killing‘ star Mireille Enos.

It’s the same scene teased in previous trailers for the film, but here we get an extended look at the rooftop chaos — which isn’t that chaotic — and a glimpse at a couple of zombies. It all happens a bit fast though, and the focus is mostly on Gerry and his wife and kids as they make a mad dash for the helicopter.

‘World War Z’ has had some troubled history, with director Marc Forster (‘Quantum of Solace,’ ‘Stranger Than Fiction’) notoriously going back for re-shoots on the costly production. Recently, Pitt visited a handful of special advance screenings to help promote enthusiasm for the film, which hits theaters this Friday, June 21.

And if you’re really excited, Paramount has released special $50 tickets in select cities, which will allow fans to see the film two days early. In addition, buyers will receive a special pair of 3D glasses, digital content, a limited edition movie poster, and popcorn (of course).

Source: ‘World War Z’ Clip: Brad Pitt Makes a Daring Rooftop Escape

Anti-government protesters in Turkey are looking for some Academy Award-sized help in their fight.

The Occupy Gezi movement recently laid out their case by singing the song ‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ from the Oscar-winning movie ‘Les Miserables.’ The video has quickly become an internet sensation and even caught the attention of one of the film’s stars, Russell Crowe, who, ironically, played a villainous police officer in the movie.

Crowe urged everyone to remain safe when he took to his Twitter account to address the situation:

Sad to hear of the violence in Turkey. Examine yr actions with yr heart & mind ,protestor & policeman alike. Compassion over rules religion.

— Russell Crowe (@russellcrowe) June 13, 2013

The car makes contact with his legs, he flips through the air, and he somehow manages to land on his feet and run away. Apparently, he was left with just a bruised ankle. Lucky morons make good video. Check this out:
