In the closing seconds of a heated and rivaled AFC Championship game, the Seattle Seahawk's corner back Richard Sherman made a game deciding defensive stop against the 49er's. FOX reporter Erin Andrews caught up with Sherman after the game to ask him about the play. Sherman let out an angry vindictive rant no one was expecting.

Sherman insulted 49ers' receiver Michael Crabtree and proclaimed himself to be the best corner back in the league. He did so at a screaming level directly at the camera. It caught reporter Erin Andrews by surprise and most everyone watching at home. Was it out of line? Watch Richard Sherman's rant here.

Andrews: The final play. Take me through it.

Sherman: Well, I'm the best corner in the game. When you come at me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you're gonna get. Don't you ever tralk about me [intense stare into camera]

Andrews: Who was talking about you?

Sherman: Crabtree. Don't you open your mouth about the best or I'm gonna shut it for you real quick.

The self proclaimed best was obviously heated and very excited, but did he need to insult another player on television? He claims Crabtree had been dishing out fighting words all game, but without the world seeing that side of the tussle, does this paint Sherman as the bad guy?

Whether what Sherman said was in bad taste or not, it only adds to the hype that is the Super Bowl and I'm glad to see NFL is finally taking a cue from the WWE. I can't wait to see what happens at Wrestle Ma... I mean the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks as Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks take on the offensive powerhouse of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on February 2nd.
