What Do Your Work To-Do Lists Look Like?
Mine look like a big pile of stupid. I write to-do lists every day and NOT ONCE have I ever completed every task on the list.
Americans are notorious for trying to get too much done in one day, and many of us strive for the impossible. I’ve read many times that it’s far better to put fewer things on “the list” each day and actually GET THOSE THINGS DONE.
Finish the list. What a concept.
So, I’ve put in for a couple of days off….plan on turning off the smartphone…booked a room out of town and will be doing NOTHING on a list just to see how it feels.
Hang in there, America. You’ll get it done eventually.
