I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was spent watching a couple great sporting events. I think Super Bowl XLV and UFC 126 lived up to the hype. Saturday night Jon "Bones" Jones proved he's the real deal, as did Anderson Silva's front kicks. The Packers definitely left no doubt last night that they were this year's real deal in football.

The Packers reminded me of the New York Giants in 2006-2007. They were road warriors in an unbelievable playoff run (although Super Bowl XLII was a much better game and a much more impressive victory over a better opponent). Can you guess which team I like?

I also have to say I was impressed by this year's halftime show. The Black Eyed Peas know how to throw a party. I wouldn't have predicted Slash popping up from under the stage for a rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine". I liked the Axl dance Fergie, well done. I've never seen a choreographed audience before (both with costume and dance). A glow-in-the-dark, futuristic audience forming arrows and dancing in unison is pretty cool.

The ol' tube definitely brought me joy this weekend! I think I need more relaxing weekends at home.
