Whitney Houston’s Cause Of Death

Whitney Houston died on February 11th, 2012 having been found underwater in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room. The L.A. County Coroner's office has released the cause of death.

The mega star singer died of accidental drowning. There was cocaine in her system at her time of death as well. In addition, some prescription medication was found in her hotel room but according to the coroner's office, levels in Houston's system were not of a concerning level.
