Georgia jam band legends, and a Moose favorite, Widespread Panic, is marking their 25th Anniversary. How will the band be celebrating? By continuing to do what they love, touring. With their latest release, Dirty Side Down, only seven months old, bassist Dave Schools says he doesn't anticipate a new Widespread Panic album in the new year, but he's sure the band will be touring. Schools will be releasing an album next year with his other band, Stockholm Syndrome (which he and Jerry Joseph launched in 2004).

Widespread Panic fans should expect a documentary in the near future. Schools says there's "some pretty serious backing for a major documentary over the course of next year." The group already began filming over Halloween weekend in New Orleans for the film, which will include newly shot and archival footage. Stay tuned.
