Wilco’s tour took them to D.C.’s DAR Constitution Hall earlier this month, and they made a pit stop at NPR for the latest installment in the “Tiny Desk Concert” series.

Jeff Tweedy and company opened with “The Joke Explained,” a cut off of last year’s surprise album Star Wars. The set turned into a career-spanning venture as the band segued into “Misunderstood” from 1996’s Being There and “I’m Always in Love” and “A Shot in the Arm” from 1999’s Summerteeth. Watch the full performance at the top of the page. This marks the band’s second-ever “Tiny Desk Concert”; they played once before in 2011 in support of The Whole Love.

Wilco will pick up their tour schedule this summer. First, they will play a show with Angel Olsen on June 1 in Charleston, W.V. They’re also slated to headline this year’s Mountain Jam in Hunter Mountain, N.Y. That runs from June 2-5. See all of their upcoming dates at the band’s website.

Tweedy recently revealed the band plans to follow up Star Wars with a new album sometime this year.
