After more than 40 years apart, the surviving members of Buffalo Springfield — Neil Young, Stephen Stills, and Richie Furay — reunited in 2010, and according to Richie Furay, they won’t be separating again anytime soon.

In a recent interview with the Denver Post, Furay said the band will be getting back on the road next year.

“We’re gonna actually go ahead and plan a tour for right after the first of the year,” he explained, adding, “We’ll be starting in the South, and I’ve been told we’ll do about 30 days when we do those concerts.”

Though Buffalo Springfield lasted only a couple of years in its original incarnation — and the deaths of drummer Dewey Martin and bassist Bruce Palmer have made a full reunion impossible — Furay is thoroughly enjoying the trio’s second act. “It’s really fun reconnecting with Stephen and Neil. After 43 years of laying dormant, here we are playing the songs again!”
