Winter Storm Watch

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Southwest Montana in effect from late Tuesday night through Thursday morning. By midday Thursday total snow accumulations could reach 6 to 12 inches in the lower elevations, with 12 to 24 inches possible in the mountains. Strong winds could also cause blowing and drifting snow and dangerously cold wind chills.
