There have been fewer visitors making the trek to Yellowstone this year. So far in 2017, the park has seen 1,353,636 visitors, down 5.48% from the same period in 2016 (which was the highest on record).

Yellowstone hosted 803,298 visitors in June 2017. Making it the second busiest June on record, down 4.8% from June 2016, which saw 838,316 visitors. Year-to-date visitation in 2017 is 24.8% higher than it was 5 years ago in 2013.
